White Swan 10th Graders Complete Teen Mental Health First Aid Training
Feb 3, 2025
An additional 48 White Swan High School 10th-graders recently participated in teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) training, with 26 successfully completing all three sessions. With this latest group, all current 10th graders have now taken part in the program, equipping them with skills to identify, understand, and respond to mental health and substance use challenges among their peers.
To further support these students, all Mt. Adams School District teachers have been invited to attend Youth Mental Health First Aid for Tribal Communities and Indigenous Peoples on Friday, February 14th. This training will provide educators with tools to better support youth and foster a culture of mental wellness in our schools.
