QPR – Building Skills to Support Our Youth

On Thursday, March 12th, the coalition partnered with the Mt. Adams School District Wɨshinwɨshinłáma Migrant Education Program and ESD 105 to offer a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training for parents and guardians of our migratory students. Six community members participated in the training, learning how to recognize warning signs of suicide, start supportive conversations, and connect individuals to help.

We are grateful to the families who joined us and to our partners for helping strengthen our community’s ability to support youth mental health.
