Middle School Students Complete Botvin LifeSkills Training
Jun 9, 2026
Mt. Adams 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have completed the Botvin LifeSkills Training program — a significant milestone for our middle school.
Botvin LifeSkills Training promotes mental health and positive youth development, helping students resist drug, alcohol, and tobacco use while also supporting the reduction of violence and other high-risk behaviors. Students develop personal self-management skills including enhanced self-esteem, problem-solving abilities, stress and anxiety reduction, and anger management.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our teachers who delivered the curriculum in their classrooms. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Barrett, Mr. Galland, Mr. Gonzales, Ms. Craig, and Ms. Larez for their commitment to the health and well-being of our students.
