Looking Out for Each Other: More Students Trained in Mental Health First Aid

On Thursday, March 26th, the coalition completed its second implementation of teen Mental Health First Aid at White Swan High School. The program is offered to all 10th graders and teaches young people how to recognize and support a friend who is experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

The first group completed the program in January, and two additional groups wrapped up in March. With these sessions complete, White Swan 10th graders now have practical tools to look out for one another when it matters most.
