Honoring Culture, Building Connection: GONA Planned for Spring Break at Harrah

This spring, Harrah Elementary will be filled with culture, connection, and community as the coalition partners with Yakama Nation Youth Activities to host a Gathering of Native Americans (GONA) during Spring Break on April 7th and 8th.

This two-day gathering will bring youth and community members together in a welcoming, culturally grounded space to learn, share, and celebrate identity, belonging, and resilience. Through meaningful activities and relationship-building, participants will have opportunities to connect with one another, strengthen cultural pride, and build positive memories during their time away from school.
