Health Students Educated on Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response

On Tuesday, April 9th, ninth grade students in Marcy Sanchez’ health classes participated in an Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response training.

The training introduces participants to common opioids, highlights the effects opioids have on the body, and teaches participants how to identify and effectively respond to an opioid overdose.
