Families Complete Parenting with Tradition Program
Jun 4, 2025
On June 3rd, two families completed our most recent Parenting with Tradition course, an eight-session program rooted in cultural values and traditional parenting practices. Known nationally as Positive Indian Parenting, this course provides a space for parents and caregivers to explore traditional child-rearing approaches and apply them to the realities of modern parenting.
Throughout the program, participants reflected on their own experiences and cultural teachings, while learning about topics such as storytelling, harmony in child-rearing, and the importance of extended family. The course emphasized the strengths of Native parenting traditions and offered practical tools to support healthy family relationships today.
We’re proud to support families on their parenting journeys and look forward to offering future sessions of Parenting with Tradition in our community.
