Coordinator Partners with Community Leaders at Fentanyl Task Force SIM Meeting

On Monday, April 1st, the White Swan Community Coordinator partnered with community leaders from across the valley to begin developing a Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) for our community. The SIM is used to identify community resources and help plan for additional resources for people with mental and substance use disorders at each phase of interaction with the justice system.

The work was led by SAFE Yakima Valley and will be instrumental in allowing community organizations to more effectively seek funding and support to address the growing threat fentanyl poses to our communities.
