Coordinator Joins Governor’s Challenge Workgroups

Our Coalition Coordinator, Julie, has joined the Washington State Governor’s Challenge workgroups.

The goal of the Governor’s Challenge is to prevent suicide among service members, veterans, and their families. As part of the workgroups, she will collaborate with statewide partners to

• improve identification and screening for suicide risk among service members, veterans, and their families;

• promote connectedness among agencies and personnel working to prevent suicide; and

• increase lethal means safety and safety planning.
