Coordinator Attends CADCA Opioid Coalition Academy

The week of March 2nd, our coalition coordinator participated in the first week of the three-week CADCA Opioid Coalition Academy, held in Union Gap.

CADCA’s Opioid Coalition Academy is a comprehensive training and technical assistance program designed to strengthen local community responses to the opioid crisis. Over the course of the academy, participants learn how to use data, build partnerships, and develop coordinated strategies to prevent opioid misuse and support treatment and recovery efforts.

During the first session, a variety of community partners involved in prevention, harm reduction, and treatment and recovery came together to begin this important work. By collaborating across sectors, the group is working to develop a stronger, more coordinated response to the opioid crisis in our region.
