Coordinator Attends American Association of Suicidology Conference

From Tuesday, May 7th, to Thursday, May 9th, our coordinator attended the American Association of Suicidology annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the conference, she learned from leading experts in the field of suicidology and attended a number of insightful learning sessions including

• Why We Didn’t Tell You: Learning from the Lived Experience of Those with Suicidal Thoughts,

• CALM (Conversations on Access to Lethal Means) Conversations,

• Perceived Life Expectancy and Life Purpose: Relations with Suicide Attempts Among Queer Youth, and

• Support for Diversity Initiatives and the Impact on Help-Seeking and Help-Giving Behaviors.
