Coalition Meets with School Board on Alcohol Concerns

On Thursday, March 19th, coalition co-chairs Allison Shavehead and Gary Peters, member Michelle Barba, and coordinator Julie Schillreff met with the Mt. Adams School District Board of Directors to request their support for the coalition's efforts to remove alcohol from White Swan. The board gave the coalition a warm reception, and members expect the board to sign a formal letter of support at their next meeting this Thursday.

The school board's backing adds another important voice to the growing chorus of community members, students, and elected officials calling for the revocation of the recently issued liquor license.
