Coalition Coordinator Attends CADCA Opioid Academy

Our coordinator recently completed the second week of the CADCA Opioid Coalition Academy, joined by partners from across the Yakima Valley.

CADCA's Opioid Coalition Academy is a comprehensive three-week training and technical assistance program designed to strengthen local responses to the opioid crisis, equipping coalitions with the tools and resources needed to take meaningful action in their communities.

The cross-agency team is putting that training to work. Julie is collaborating with the Yakama Nation team to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to address opioids in our community, with a focus on the three interconnected realms of prevention, harm reduction, and treatment. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to tackling the opioid crisis in a way that is coordinated, culturally grounded, and community-driven.
